The year was 1962. Dr No, the first James Bond flick with Sean Connery in the lead, hits the screen and is a runaway success. Connery's watch/Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual, a watch that had made its debut two years earlier in 1960. Connery's successor as Bond, Roger Moore, too stuck to the Rolex Submariner.
