Le Coultre & Co. A 14ct Rose Gold Full Hunter Keyless Lever Minute Repeater Pocket Watch. C1890.

Dial: The beautiful white enamel dial with large Roman numerals and with outer minute track. The subsidiary seconds dial located at six o'clock, with original rose gold coloured hands and blued steel seconds hand.

Case: The heavy 14ct Rose Gold hunter case with an engraving of Tzar Nicholas II, the last reigning Emperor of Russia. The back cover of the watch is plain. The slide to operate the repeater is located on the side of the case. The inner cover is plain. The cases are all fully Swiss hallmarked and numbered.

Movement: The superb nickel finished movement, fully jewelled, compensated balance, Breguet overcoil hairspring and fast, slow regulation, with wolf's tooth winding. The hammers and gongs are visible with the hammers striking the gongs clearly. The movement is signed LeCoultre.

This watch is very rare and unusual as it could have been a presentation watch to Tzar Nicholas II of Russia. The engraving is of amazing quality for this period of time. It is rare to find watches with the Emperor of Russia engraved on a pocket watch. It would make a great addition to a collector of Tzarist Russian memorabilia. The watch is in pristine NOS condition.
