Four great new watches have been added to the IWC Midsize Portofino Collection at the Watches & Wonders fair in Hong Kong. The stunning new theme uses diamonds, on the bezel, lugs and on some watches even the dial. In order to match the presentation of these prestige new watches, IWC used well known photographer and film maker, Peter Lindberg to capture the essence of this truly glamorous event. Inevitably, there were many famous faces scattered around, all wanting to be a part of the trend, from the likes of Adriana Lima, Ewan McGregor, Christopher Waltz, Karolina Kurkova and even Cate Blanchett.

The Portofino Collection includes the Automatic, Automatic Moon Phase and the Automatic Day & Night. One should not assume however, that these diamond encrusted watches are only for the ladies, as there is a luxury range for the gents too. All the watches are available in a variation of materials and dial colours that are perfect for everyone.

The Automatic watches have the largest variation in style from a range of 10, from diamond encrusted bezels to the simpler watches with diamonds simply on the hour markers. The Automatic Moon Phase has similar features to the originals and is enhanced with a bit of sparkle with a star studded sky and moon on the face. Lastly the Automatic Day & Night offers two ranges in either red-gold or steel cases and has 66 diamonds in the bezel and 12 additional diamonds as hour marks on the mother of pearl dial. It can be fair to say then, IWC is shining bright!.
