Top Gun IWC in The Bourne Legacy!

IWC Schaffhausen has pared up with Universal Pictures for the new production of “The Bourne Legacy” which opens nationwide on August 10, 2012.  In this fourth edition of the "Bourne” series, lead actor Jeremy Renner’s character, Aaron Cross, sports an IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition TOP GUN (Ref. IW 379901).

I find it somewhat curious that the IWC Top Gun Ref. 379901 featured in the movie is no longer a production model for IWC — this watch is the predecessor to the current IWC Pilot’s Watch collection including the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN (IW388001) and the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN (Ref. IW502902); even so, this is not a bad thing and overall this is a excellent product placement for IWC.
