Vacheron & Constantin Genève. A Heavy Silver keyless Lever Open Face Deck Watch retailed by Asprey and with its Original Asprey Box, C1940s.

Dial: The Matt Silver dial signed Vacheron & Constantin Geneve with bold Arabic numeral outer minute track with Arabic five second intervals and with original beautiful blued steel spade hands and a matching centre second hand.

Case: The massive Silver case with plain back cover. The inner cover is plain. The cases are all signed Vacheron & Constantin, Swiss Hallmarked and English import marks. The cases are all numbered.

Movement: The exceptional gilt finished movement which is fully jewelled to the centre arbor, signed and numbered with a superb micrometer regulator, compensated balance and unusual centre second wheel to the back plate.

This Deck watch is an amazing piece as it also comes with an Extract of Archives. What is unusual is that it is a centre second watch. Most watches of this type had subsidiary seconds dials.This deck watch also has it's original Asprey box. This deck watch would make a fine addition to one's collection.
