A Full Hunter 18K Gold Minute Repeater Pocket Watch by George Edward and Sons London & Glasgow - Makers to the Queen and the Admiralty. The watch was presented to Captain Alfred Rimmer (whose monogram is engraved on the front cover of the watch) by the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company for his Courageous and able Management of an exploring expedition on the upper reaches of the Irrawaddy River in 1887. There is a presentation Inscription on the Inner cover. The Movement is a plate fully jewelled Swiss made but English finished movement.
