A Rose Gold Quarter Repeater Chronograph Keyless Lever Full Hunter Pocket Watch C1896.
Dial: The perfect white enamel dial with Arabic numerals outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock, with rose gold coloured Louis XVI style hands and blued steel centre second chronograph hand.
Case: The 14ct Rose Gold full hunter case with plain front and back covers. The inner cover has an engraving of the description of the movement and also showing that the watch won a medal at the Geneve exhibition in 1896. The cases are numbered and Swiss hallmarked. The repetition button is at seven o'clock and the chronograph button is at twelve o'clock.
Movement: The unsigned Swiss keyless lever movement with compensation balance and overcoil hairspring. The chronograph mechanism is located on the backplate. The movement runs perfectly and the hours and quarter chime clearly.
This watch is a lovely example of a good clean Swiss Quarter repeater big size. This watch would compliment one's collection.
