Dial: The dial is the glass which is signed Girard Perregaux, as this is a skeleton pocket watch. The diamond markers on the edge of the case are the hour marker. The original elegant blued steel hands complimenting the design of the watch.

Case: The 18ct yellow gold case with ribbon effect to the front of the case set with baguette diamonds to the edge of the case acting as hour markers and with rubies set on the first ribbon around the case. The back of the watch is fitted with a glass with a plain gold edge and with the serial number.

Movement: The beautiful exposed gold movement, fully engraved on the front and back, jewelled with compensation balance, free sprung lever escapement.

This pocket watch is a beautiful example of a skeleton watch which is a unique piece produced in very limited production in 1981 as confirmed by Girard Perregaux. The cost of this watch in 1981 was Swiss Francs 21,200 . This watch would make an excellent addition to one's collection.
