A Rare Silver 8 Day Military Vintage Pocket Watch, black arabicdial numbered with British military marking, smallseconds at 6 0'clock, a fixed silver bezel, plastic glass, manual wind movement, in excellent condition, comes with a presentation box, our own certificate of authenticity and our own one year warranty. N.B. This pocket watch is a fine example of WWI (World War One) aviation. It was mass produced for British pilots to use whilst "balloon busting", destroying enemy observation balloons. The dial featuresa broad arrow marking which identifies this timepiece as beingunique to Great Britain. This vintage piece, was also known asthe "cockpit watch" and also used by the RAF in later years. To find this pocket watchin such excellent condition is rare andwould make a splendid addition to one's collection.
