Patek Philippe. A 14ct Yellow Gold Keyless Lever Louis XVI Style Open Face Pocket Watch C1914

Dial: The unusual silver gilt engine turned dial signed Patek Philippe & Co Geneve with Breguet numerals outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The original and very unusual blued steel double moon Breguet style hands with original blued steel seconds hand.

Case: The 14ct Yellow Gold Case with engine turning to the back of the case with vacant cartouche. The inner lid signed Patek Philippe and numbered with an inscription saying the watch was specially made for L.M.Lilpop Warszawie. There is also a presentation inscription dated July 1957. The cases are all Swiss Hallmarked, signed and numbered.

Movement: The A quality Nickel finished movement fully signed and numbered with micrometer regulation, compensation balance, overcoil hairspring, wide arm lever and wolf's tooth winding.

This slim elegant pocket watch is a fine example of Patek's excellent craftsmanship in producing such a beautiful timepiece with it's unusual dial and hands. The watch comes with Extract of Archives showing that it was made in 1914 and sold in September 1916. This watch would compliment one's collection.
