A Rare Vintage Rolex Zebra Striped 9K Gold Prince Brancard wristwatch. The Brancard case (ref. 971)is signed R.W.C.Ltd. (Rolex Watch Company Limited) and is 9K Gold hallmarked. The Rolexmanual wind movement is Observatory quality with 15 Rubies, timed to 6 positions. Brown leather strap with an original gold plated pin buckle. The silvereddial has Arabic numbers with a large subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is signed Rolex Prince above the centre.The Rolex Prince with the two dials is often referred to as a doctors watch or duo-dial . The large seconds dial enabling the wearer to time beats, etc more accurately.This is a very fine and early example of the Rolex Striped Prince. The Brancard case which is flared and curved is in wonderful condition. This watch is a real must-have for any watch enthusiast!
