This rare and historical Military commissioned Deck Watch was manufactured in 1941. It was sold by Golay to the Ministry of Defence in February 1942. In June 1942 it went into service with HMS Upright (The only time the British navy called one of its ships Upright) HMS Upright was in fact a submarine which operated in the Mediterranean Sea and had many successful sinkings of Italian ships. The watch comes with Extract of Archives, The log from the records at Greenwhich showing the ships the watch served on. This watch would make an excellent addition to any Military collection.
