A Rare Antique Vacheron Constantin Chronometre Royal open face pocket watch in 18kt yellow gold. First registered in Switzerland in 1907, the Chronometre Royal was made to compete with Patek Philippe's Gondolo Pocket Watches
The white enamel dial features Roman numerals and a small seconds display at 6 o'clock. Fitted with mineral glass and a highly jewelled manual wind lever movement with micrometre regulation. The watch also features a signed inner cuvette case and engine turned case back with a vacant cartouche.
In excellent condition, comes with our presentation box and an Extract from the Archives confirming the year of manufacture as 1912.
