Dial: The perfect white enamel Roman dial with subsidiary seconds dial with beautiful rose gold Louis XVI style hands.

Case: The heavy case is Highly Engraved with a scene of a jungle with palms, leaves, scrolls, a serpent and a parrot. A truly interesting engraving on the front and back cover of this watch. The other unusual feature is the big box hinges which is usually associated with American pocket watches. The inner cuvette is fully signed with a description of the movement. The case has swiss hallmarks for 18ct gold.

Movement: The beautifully finished Swiss nickel movement, jewelled to the centre arbor with polished steel hammers chiming the hours and quarters when the repeater mechanism is operated. The movement is unsigned.

The engraving on the case gives the impression that the watch could have been made for the South American market.
