Antiquorum Hong Kong Auction

On Saturday 22^nd February, Antiquorum celebrated their 40^th anniversary with its auction of “Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces”, which was held in Hong Kong at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. They auctioned a total of 250 fine and exceptional timepieces, the highlight being a Patek Philippe 5004A; a stainless steel limited edition model of only 50 pieces. The highly collectible and rare double sealed wristwatch was produced in 2011, with a perpetual calendar, moon phases, leap year, 24 hour indication and a split-seconds chronograph.

The lot was estimated to fetch between 4,000,000 and 5,000,000 Hong Kong Dollars and ended up being sold for 4,158,000 HKD, the approximate equivalent of £322,400.
