The annual Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Cup is always a memorable occasion and once again the prestigious Swiss watch brand joined The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) to sponsor the special event.
This year, Audemars Piguet have unveiled the classic Royal Oak Chronograph QEII Cup 2015 watch to commemorate the experience – limited to only 200 pieces. The watch itself is 41mm in a titanium case with an octagonal bezel fitted with screws and houses an automatic calibre 2385 with a 40 hour power reserve. The unique silver “Grande Tapisserie” dial provides the backdrop for the ruthenium grey chronograph which is protected with a glare proof sapphire glass and water resistant to 50 meters.
Most importantly, to mark the special occasion and to make it unique from other models, the caseback is engraved with “QE II Cup 2015 – Limited Edition”, ensuring it will be treasured and loved by QEII Cup fans as well as watch collectors.
Audemars Piguet and Hong Kong Jockey Club co-hosted the Gala Party on 24th April wherein jockeys, horse owners and special guests came together to honour the Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup. The Cup itself was on 26th April at Sha Tin Racecourse.
