Marking its Seventh standalone Middle Eastern store; Hublot says they are going to continue building momentum in the region, really making their presence known; on average they are opening one boutique a month at the most prestigious locations across the globe.

Hublot’s Chairman Jean-Claude Biyer and the Behbehani family, alongside a number of long-standing partners and friends of the brand in Kuwait; attended the opening ceremony on May 22 beginning with the traditional ribbon cutting.

Ali Morad Behbehani, the president of Morad Yousuf Behbehani Group, said: “It’s a really exciting time to be opening a new Hublot boutique in Kuwait soon after the opening of our recent shop-in-shop in our flagship boutique in Al Hamra Mall, especially given the presence of such immense local demand for what Hublot offers.

With a stunning combination of natural buckskin and ebony, a black marble floor and leather wall; it really represents the brand’s Art of Fusion aesthetic; located within the Avenues Mall-Prestige.

Biver said: “Kuwait is home to a large number of major watch collectors. They fully appreciate the expertise of the Swiss watchmaking art, expressed through our watch collections. I wish our teams every success and the best of luck, and would be delighted to come and visit them often.”

With its turnover expected to hit 200million CHF, the brand said last month that it is on track for a “record year” in 2013.
