Bulova watch still working after 70 years under water

Here is a great story courtesy of a British Royal Navy Vet who lost his gold Bulova into Gibraltar Harbor way back in 1941.  Just recently, the harbor was dredged and what did they find?  You guessed it, Lieutenant Teddy Bacon’s gold Bulova, still ticking. 

The harbor-master then reviewed all missing-items claims and found that this watch matched Bacon’s claim and mailed it off to him.  67 years after he filed the claim, and now 90 years old, he wears his still working Bulova every day.
