UEFA Champions League have officially signed up Hublot to be their official licensed watch partner for the next three years. The luxury brand has continued to grow and strengthen its association with football through their many limited edition pieces for various teams and players.
Included in the deal, Hublot will also carry a licence for the UEFA Europa league and will be featuring on the fourth official boards for both competitions. Hublot were also present on the boards during the 2014 FIFA world cup which gave the brand over 20 minutes of continuous screentime worldwide. The official licenced watches for the competitions will be launched later on in the season.
The chief executive of the luxury watch brand, Ricardo Guadalupe, was absolutely delighted to unveil the new-look UEFA Champion League boards and said: “It is an immense honour and a privilege for Hublot to become a partner of the major club competitions organised by UEFA. The work we have already performed together is part of the long-term relationship that Hublot has built with UEFA. As partners we have created an item with an innovative design that reflects the quality of both brands.”
Hublot also signed up as official timekeeper and official watch of Chelsea FC last week. The reigning Premier League champions announced their partnership with Hublot after the first game of the season on Saturday 8th August 2015. Through this partnership, Hublot will benefit from worldwide visibility via LED scoreboards and the clocks placed around the ground.
The managing director of Chelsea Football Club expressed his elation for this partnership by saying “Thanks to this partnership, Hublot is continuing to reinforce its presence in the world of top-class football.
